Lucy Elizabeth Dacus is a well-known American singer-songwriter and producer. She was born on May 2, 1995 in the United States. Dacus is a musician who was born in Richmond, Virginia. Her debut album, titled No Burden (2016), garnered a lot of attention and led to a recording contract with Matador Records. Her second album, titled Historian, was released in 2018 and received even more praise from critics. The year 2021 saw the release of Home Video, the third studio album to come from Dacus.
In addition to her work as a solo artist, Dacus is a part of the independent supergroup boygenius, which was established in 2018, together with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker.
